INCLUSIVE TEACHING

TIA_edited.jpg

This faculty professional development series entitled Teaching for Inclusivity and Accessibility includes three courses--Designing an Inclusive Course, Facilitating Inclusive Communities Communities for Learning, and Accessible Online Environments. Participants earn a badge for completing each course and a certificate of completion if all three courses are completed. The inclusive teaching courses were designed and developed with another instructional designer at the University of Florida; the accessibility course was designed with a larger team of instructional designers and developers.

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN FUNDAMENTALS

Instructional Design fundamentals

I was on the small team that led the re-design of CITT Instructional Design Fundamentals, a faculty introduction to the instructional design process and the pedagogical building blocks of online course design and management. I developed the modules on academic rigor & integrity and inclusive & accessible pedagogy.
